Flower clusters 1/2"-2" long and become very fluffy. Stem is covered in white hairs. Leaves mostly basal. Plants grow 10"-15" tall.

Plains Snakecotton Froelichia floridana
Large flower spike with red tips. Thinner stem with no fuzz. Leaves mostly basal. Swollen bright red leaf nodes.
