Creation's Parables

Genesis 1-11 Matches Standard Science.

AGREEMENT?  HARMONY?  CRAZY!  Now that would take a miracle.

But it does.  The delinquency does not rest on the text or on science.  For more than 2000 years, one non-biblical concept has clouded interpretation of the text and nature, the Greek ideal of PERFECTION.  The Bible never says God created everything perfect nor anything perfect.  It never claims plants and animals changed from what they were nor shows surprise as animals start eating each other.  For hundreds of years, scientists have been separating nature from perfectionistic ideals wrapped in religion.  Most of those people were Christians.  This progression is not yet finished.

Now it is Christianity’s turn.  Without perfectionism, the God of Abraham inspired a Bronze Age poet to describe nature as we know it.

That is one big miracle.
