Bush 2-3 feet tall with multiple stems from large taproot. Large leaves, stems, and fruit covered in prickly hairs that can cause skin irritation. Sap from stems can also cause irritation. Leaves have 5 leaflets. White flower looks velvety. Round prickly seedpod with 3 chambers.
