Plains Fleabane Erigeron modestus
Flower about 3/4" wide with lavender or pink tips. Plant grows to about 8" tall. This plant varies its growth habit throughout the year. Spring, leafless stalk with lobed leaves at base. Summer, branched upright with unlobed leaves on branches. Fall, sprawling with small narrow leaves.

Daisy Fleabane (Prairie Fleabane, Rough Fleabane) Erigeron strigosus
Flower about 1/2" wide, very narrow ray petals but not long,white but also lavender/pink, disk yellow. Plant grows about 3 feet tall. Stem is un-branched except at the top. These branches end in loose clusters of flowers. Lower leaves longer, 4". Upper main stem leaves smaller and thinner. Blooms spring to mid summer, sometimes early fall.

Annual Fleabane (Eastern Daisy Fleabane) Erigeron annuus
1/2"-3/4" wide flowers, white to pinkish, with very thin ray petals, yellow disk is 3/8" wide.; Lower leaves 3"-5" long on petioles. Flower cup is "V" shaped or flattish. Upper leaves smaller without petioles, usually lanceolate, alternate. Leaf margin teeth and leaf width variable. Central stem hairy. This daisy survives mowing so is considered a weed. Plat grows to 4 feet tall but can bloom at 3 1/2" tall. Blooms spring till frost.

Similar to Annual Fleabane. Flowers, white to pinkish, ray flowers not as narrow. Fuzzy lanceolate lower leaves. Can grow to 15" tall, depending on conditions.
