Description: convexi-concave --- deep sulcus on the pedicle valve, fold on brachial valve, even or widest at hinge, hinge has 4 spines

Description: convexi-concave, fine radial ribs --- pedicle valve covered with evenly spaced spines --- ears have prominent spine attachments

Description: convexi-concave, smooth surface  --- deep narrow sulcus on the tall pedicle valve with one spine attachment on each lobe, this specimen no longer has wings so hinge is narrower than width  --- brachial valve fold is at the lamellose anterior margin only
