Texas Bindweed Convolvulus equitans (Convolvulus hermannioides)
Flower about 3/4" wide. Tendrils shown are 3 feet from center of plant. Tendrils wraps around other plants to climb.

Wild Morning-glory (Sharp-Pod Morning-glory) Ipomoea trichocarpa
Flower 1"-2" wide, deep purple/rose color with darker center. Flowers open at sun rise and close at midday. Climbing vine grows from a tuberous root. Stems can reach 15 feet long. Leaves have three lobes and vary in size up to 4" long. Hybrids with I. purpurea have a pinched heart-shaped leaf.

Flower 2"-3" wide. This plant has years of cultivation so many colors are available. Flowers open at sun rise and close at midday. Climbing vine grows from a tuberous root. Stems can reach 15 feet long. Heart shaped leaves vary in size up to 4" long.
