Golden-Aster (Camphor Daisy) Heterotheca latifolia
Flower up to 1" wide. Sprawling plant grows 1-3 feet tall with multiple stems. Large, curled, hairy leaves alternate up long stem. This plant can be trimmed to produce multiple stalks. Foliage smells strongly of camphor when crushed. It is not eaten by livestock.

Gray Golden-Aster Heterotheca canescens
Flower about 3/4" wide with a scruffy center. Leaves are dark green or gray/green on a long stem. Stem and leaves are hairy.
