Fragrant Cudweed (Cat-Foot, Fragrant Everlasting) Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium (Gnaphalium obtusifolium)
Loose clusters of fuzzy aromatic white flowers. Each "flower" is composed mostly of white phyllaries (leafy structures below a daisy). The actual flowers are tiny and yellow. There are no ray flowers or ray petals. Crushed leaves smell sweet. Lanceolate leaves have white hairs on the underside. Multiple stems from near base are covered in white hairs. Blooms September to October. Grows to about 2" tall. Plant was used as an insect repellent in matrices and for books.

Dogfennel (Cypressweed) Eupatorium capillifolium
White flowers in loose clusters at top of stalk. No ray petals. Single stalk grows to about 5 feet tall.
