Caryophyllaceae - Pink family
Chickweed Stellaria media
Flower about 3/16" wide. This trailing plant grows to about 8" tall and makes a nice groundcover. If kept moist and shaded it will grow nearly year long.

Ranunculaceae - Buttercup family (Crowfoot family)
Ten-Petal Anemone (Thimbleweed, Windflower) Anemone heterophylla
Flower about 1 3/4" wide can have 10-20 "petals" (actually sepals). Flower is on a stalk above the leaves and can be white, pink purple, or blue. The most distinctive part of this flower is the 3/4" to 2" long fruiting head. The plant grows 4"-16" tall. Leaves grow mostly at base.
