Feather Dalea Dalea formosa
Flower under 1/2" long with a "feathery" cup.; In bloom this bush looks like it is covered in spider webs. Leaves are about 1/4" long. Seed pods are flattened spheres about 1/8" wide. Shrubby thorn bush grows to about 3 feet tall but are generally less.

Black Dalea (Shrubby Dalea) Dalea frutescens
Flower about 1/2" long in a loose spike. Beak is mostly white. Bush shown was about 6 feet tall. Leaves are fragrant.

6"-12" high groundcover that roots at nodes on long branches. Deep purple flower.
