Henbit Lamium amplexicaule

Out of the tiered leaf rings, 1/2" tall flowers grow. Stem has a square cross section Plant grows to about 18" tall. This plant tolerates mowing.

Flower about 1/2" wide and fuzzy. Plant shown is 3-4" tall.

American Germander (Wood Sage) Teucrium canadense

Flower about 3/4" long in a spike. Leaves 2"-4" long, toothed edge. Plant grows 1-3 feet tall.
